Pilgrimage, history, and devotion
Meetings include:
- devotional prayer
- talks and presentations
- discussion on the history and devotion of Our Lady of Grace
- fellowship with refreshments
Regular meetings take place on every second Tuesday mornings at St Mary at the Elms Church.
Visitors and newcomers are welcome to attend.
Sunday September 6th (St Peter’s by the Waterfront, IP4 1BF).
Annual Pilgrimage Walk, following Wolsey’s route. Begins at St Peter’s at 3.00pm and ends about 4.15pm at the Elms, with refreshments and social time afterwards.
Tuesday September 8th (The Elms, IP1 1EY).
Sing Marian Plainsong. In celebration of the Birth of the Blessed Virgin Mary, you are invited to come and sing plainsong, under the direction of Andrew Leach. Music provided. Singers of all abilities and vocal ranges most welcome. 10.30am for 11.00am.
Monday September 14th (Museum Street Methodist Church, Black Horse Lane, IP1 2EF, car parking in Wolsey opposite).
The Restored Pilgrimage Way, from the Elms Shrine to St Edmundsbury Cathedral. Dr Mike Walker will give an illustrated talk on this project. Bring friends with you! 7.00pm (refreshments) for 7.30pm. Finishes at 8.30pm.

Annual General Meeting of the Guild. 10.30am for 11.00am.
Tuesday November 10th (Museum Street Methodist Church, Black Horse Lane, IP1 2EF, car parking in Wolsey opposite).
The Medieval Shrine of Our Lady at Woolpit. Historian Shelona Klatzow will give an illustrated talk about this important local shrine.
Tuesday December 8th (The Elms).
Marian Anthology for the seasons of Advent and Christmas. Bring and share readings, pictures, music, drama, whatever (CD player provided). 10.30am for 11.00am.
